Le Gigot–Dylan Willoughby and Miriam Calleja
home is an untidy string ↭ you string me along as you take on the shape of another ↭ if you insert your name here, I can say ↭ you are a hall of mirrors ↭ I want life to punish you with regret ↭ things you didn’t do ↭ summer heat ↭ lust, in early spring ↭ the image of yourself as savior / as migrant / as a body stretched with tears ↭ the hand cramps in tiny notebooks ↭ words promise to produce magic ↭ fireworks are just color with life force ambition ↭ they run on the belief of being extinguished ↭ you vow to never use magic in a poem ↭ rather, the slight of hand ↭ the illusion of control ↭ relativity on a thimble ↭ a seasick ocean
